Psychological intervention in the employee assistance program of a large tertiary hospital under the

According to “the guidelines of the emergent mental health intervening during the pandemic of the COVID-19” issued by the National Health Committee, the psychological intervention is also an important component of the integrated COVID-19 prevention and control work. With considerations on the current status of the pandemic and its prevention and control work, this paper introduces an employee assistance program applied by a large tertiary hospital. To keep its employee’s psychological health, the program applied 7 major measures, which are abbreviated as “3S4P”, and an internal hierarchical mode as “P-G-O-T” to the intervening of the employees’ mental status. With the outcomes and experiences of the program, this paper can be a reference to the management and practices of other hospitals.
