【Abstract】Objective By analyzing the cited literature and key words, drawing the relevant knowledge map, and displaying the research hotspots and trends of mental diseases caused by geographical environment factors, it will provide reference materials for domestic scholars to explore the frontier in this field. Methods This paper uses CiteSpace visualization software to study the articles on mental diseases and geographical environment included in web of science from 2011 to 2021. This paper analyzes the basic characteristics, knowledge base and keywords of research in this field. Results The research focuses on the impact of weather, urbanization, air pollution, war, poverty and social pressure on the incidence of mental diseases. In addition, it also pays attention to the promoting effect of green space, blue space, science and technology on the recovery of patients with mental diseases. The research method was expanded from the initial direct data to the self-assessment scale of health. Conclusion The influence of geographical environment on mental diseases and the use of geographical means to explain the pathogenesis of mental diseases are becoming a research hotspot.
